Finnish Advantage Program

Kiitos! You're
on the list.

Your details have been received. Whether you're preparing to move or already living in Finland, this is your first step toward Finnish that truly works — ready to integrate and stand ahead.

You chose preparation. That already sets you apart.

Three steps
to your place.

I

Watch for my invitation

Assessments run in small groups, so I bring a few students together for each round. As soon as the next date is set, you'll receive a personal email from me with the time and your Zoom link. Do check your inbox — and your spam folder, just in case.

II

Your assessment — a friendly Finnish check-up

About 45 minutes on Zoom with your small group: short listening, grammar, reading and writing tasks, plus two quick spoken answers you send by WhatsApp afterwards. It is not a pass/fail exam — it simply shows your true starting point. Come as you are; there is nothing to prepare.

III

Your place & next steps

I review your results and recommend the level and track that fit you best — Starter, Foundation or Progression; Standard or Intensive. Then you'll receive your schedule, details and pricing to confirm your place. Groups are small, so places are limited.

Use this time
wisely.

Kuuntele

Listen daily

Start tuning your ear to real Finnish now. Finnish radio, podcasts, or YouTube — even 10 minutes a day begins to rewire how you hear the language.

Kertaa

Review your foundation

Go back to any Finnish you have already met — sounds, greetings, first words. The stronger your base, the faster spoken activation works once the program begins.

Ajattele

Think in Finnish

Begin naming things around you in Finnish. Simple words, simple sentences. The habit of thinking in Finnish — not translating to it — is where fluency starts.

You will not enter Finland hoping to manage — you will enter prepared to integrate and ready to seize what is waiting for you.
