Course options & contents

Two tracks,
three levels.

Every level is CEFR-aligned, delivered live in a small group with real-time correction, and built around all four skills. You're placed after your free assessment.

CEFR-aligned A0 → B1 Small group — max 8–12 Live instruction · Finland-based Entry & exit speaking assessments
Format I

Standard track

Steady, measurable progress over 2–3 months. Live interactive sessions (2 per week) plus guided assignments — speaking, listening, reading and writing together.

Format II

Intensive track

A fast 3-week immersion built around daily live speaking, structured drills and immediate correction — minimal homework. Ideal if you arrive in Finland soon.

Starter
A0 → A1

For students arriving with no prior Finnish.

The survival foundation before you move: Finnish sounds & pronunciation, high-frequency vocabulary (greetings, numbers, time, transport, shopping), core sentence patterns, and the confidence to function from day one. Standard: 5 weeks / 10 sessions · Intensive: daily.

Foundation
A1 → A2

For those with basic knowledge who need speaking confidence.

Turning textbook Finnish into usable Finnish: pronunciation accuracy, core grammar embedded in real usage, and everyday communication scenarios. Standard: 2 months / 16 sessions · Intensive: 3 weeks daily.

Progression
A2 → B1 · YKI-aligned

For solid A2 speakers aiming for fluency and the YKI exam.

Spontaneous speaking, academic & workplace simulations, structured writing and real-speed listening. Units follow the official YKI B1 topics — home, services, health, work, free time, society — with mock speaking & listening tasks. Standard: 3 months / 24 sessions · Intensive: 3 weeks daily.

Placement considers both grammar and real speaking ability — the two don't always develop at the same pace. Your free assessment finds the right level; the price for that group follows afterwards.
