You’ll always get the standard Finnish equivalent side by side, so you can understand both spoken and written Finnish. Throughout the course, we also learn and discuss curiosities and real-life insights about Finnish culture — so you don’t just learn the language, you understand the context around it.

by the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • handle the most common situations in clear, everyday spoken Finnish (with standard Finnish equivalents), such as:

    • Meeting people and making a good first impression (greetings, introductions, small talk)

    • Telling the basics about yourself (where you’re from, language, nationality)

    • Asking and answering essential everyday questions (simple, natural Q&A)

    • Using numbers confidently in real life (0–100 for prices, phone numbers, addresses, etc.)

    • Talking about your family (who’s who, basic descriptions)

    • Using key survival phrases to navigate daily life politely and naturally

  • Build a foundation you can keep growing

    • You’ll also improve:

      • Pronunciation

      • Ready-to-use sentence patterns

      • The core grammar you need for these situations — taught clearly, step by step, and always in context
